10 laptops for RIU-SM students

10 students – of the Bajo Río Vichada Dos of the Indigenous Reservation of the Mataven Forest (RIU-SM for its acronym in Spanish) – received laptops as part of our “Activity 2: Improvement of the systems of communications, transportation and information” & “Activity 5: Training and education programs for RIU-SM indigenous communities”. With these activities we aim to provide different tools to face communication and information issues within the RIU-SM; and create favorable conditions for indigenous people to access education.

Our Mataven REDD+ Project aims to tackle climate change, stop deforestation, protect RIU-SM natural tropical forests & reduce CO2 global emissions – while safeguarding its rich biodiversity and improving the well-being of its indigenous communities.
