We provided 54 solar panel kits for Matavén indigenous communities of the Sectors of Caño Zama, Barranquito Laguna Colorada, Caño Bocón and Giro. Matavén communities can have better and greater access to information, healthcare services, education and local markets, consequently increasing their mobility and participation in the Project activities and other programs of interest.
REDD+ Matavén is an environmental & social project tackling climate change and multi-dimensions of poverty. We stop deforestation, we protect tropical forests in the Indigenous Reservation of the Matavén Forest (Colombia), while safeguarding its biodiversity and improving their indigenous people quality of life.
