From September 9 to 11, 2025, the REDD+ Matavén Project participated in the International Summit on Sustainability and Innovation, organized by the Regional Autonomous Corporation (CAR) in Bogotá. For three days, Colombia’s capital became a hub for cooperation agencies, government institutions, private companies, and environmental projects united in their mission to advance sustainable development and climate action.

Among the conferences we attended, we highlight the session on carbon markets, where experts addressed today’s biggest challenges. The discussions emphasized the importance of building reliable and transparent carbon markets as a fundamental tool for channeling investments into projects that generate real climate, ecological, and social impact.
