We built a footbridge (210m x 1.50m) over the Caño Dume as part of our “Activity 2: Improvement of the systems of communications, transportation and information” – in order to improve indigenous communities mobility & communication; and create economic & commercial opportunities for them.
Our Mataven REDD+ Project is a participatory process, we work hand in hand with RIU-SM indigenous communities to tackle climate change, stop deforestation, protect their tropical forests & reduce CO2 global emissions – while safeguarding their rich biodiversity and improving their well-being.
