Through the “Transforming Lives Fund” program, we are dedicated to promoting access to and retention in higher education for Matavén youth.
According to the 2018 Population Census results, only 0.59% of Matavén population had pursued studies at the professional level, and a mere 0.06% had completed a technology program. To date, we have celebrated the graduation of 7 professionals and 1 auxiliary technician, with 3 students currently undergoing their internship, all excelling in various fields of knowledge.
Since the inception of this program, we have supported 119 indigenous youths in accessing higher education, contributing to the empowerment of new generations and preparing them to lead the sustainable development of their territory while strengthening their identity.
