At REDD+ Matavén, we are committed to promoting education as a fundamental pillar for building a sustainable present and future.
Recently, indigenous representatives met with the SENA (National Learning Service for its acronym in Spanish) in Vichada, the region home to the Resguardo Indígena Unificado de la Selva de Matavén. SENA is a public educational establishment in Colombia offering free training in technical, technological, and complementary programs. The main goal of this meeting was to establish a strategic alliance to promote professional training, certification of specific skills, facilitate professional internships, and support the development of productive projects aimed at the indigenous population.
This initiative represents a step forward in our commitment to sustainable development and the empowerment of indigenous communities through education and professional training.
