In Matavén, meaningful participation begins with something fundamental, understanding and being heard in one’s own language. That is why REDD+ Matavén has launched a video series explaining how to submit Requests, Complaints and Suggestions, to ACATISEMA, in the six Indigenous languages of the territory.
This initiative brings information closer to the communities, strengthens transparency and enables people to express concerns, request information, share recommendations and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, in a clear, accessible and culturally relevant way.
