On August 18 we participated in the CARBONOTÓN 2022, an event sharing the opportunities and the challenges of the Colombian Carbon Market to continue building a sustainable future.
Our Director of Productive Projects Juan Carlos Silva, was part of the Panel: “Communities and forest conservation”, he made a special emphasis on the recognition and respect of the relationship between indigenous peoples and natural resources; and with this, he pointed out the importance of creating a bridge between the ancestral knowledge of the communities and the technical knowledge of the project developers to achieve the main objective: to protect natural forests and improve the quality of life of the communities inhabiting the territory.
